LATEST REPORT

Recently, we have completed the work for United Nations Development Programme in Thimphu for the work "Salary Survey for Service Contract Personnel". The study was conducted based on the UNDP Handbook Guideline on Service Contract Personnel which is applied to all the UNDP offices across the globe. The study was conducted to set the comparison of similar organizations across the international agencies, corporations and private sector so that some of the service contract personnel in UNDP are paid comparatively same level of pay based on roles and responsibilties. The study involved interviewing the organizations based on the comparators selected for the purpose of the study. Then detailed analysis of the data collected through the survey using statistical tools.

Then based on the findings, the report was submitted to Head Quarter at New York for their feed back and comments as required by the UNDP Country Office. Accordingly, the report was approved by the Head Quarter and correpondingly approved by the management from the Country Office. They have appreciated the work done by the firm in terms of international standards, quality and the reliability of the information provided in the report. This is one of the greatest achievements for the firm in the begining of the year 2015.

Project 01

 

 

Recently completed the project on evaluation of the action plan (2012-2014) of Department of Cottage and Small Industry, Ministry of Economic Affairs. The project was undertaken by AMJ Group of Companies in collaboration with Norlha Engineering and Management Consultancy.

 

The project involved lot of meetings, focus group discussions and face to face interviews with the relevant stakeholders. It was one of the challenging job since it has to cover all the stakeholders which ranges from the policy level, Government agenceis, corporations, private sectors and individuals who were engaged in the implementation of the Action Plan.


Then based on the findings and assessment, the action plan 2015-2018 were developed along with the recommendations and findings for improvement in the future implementation process.

Project 02

 

 

Completed project for Development of Corporate Strategic Plan (2014-2018) for Construction Development Corporation Limited, which is a Government owned company dealing with launching and de-launching of bridges, construction of roads, maintenance of bridges and roads including operation and maintenance of construction equipments. They also hire out cosntruction specialised machineries and equipments.


The strategic plan was one of the new document for the company which can guide the direction of the company towards efficiency and improvement of the company. The work involved interviewing the stakeholders, group discussions and discussion at the Board Level of the company.

 

The work was appreciated by the Board as well as the Management of the company. They will be utilizing the document for all their annual work plans, decision making and to evaluate and monitor the progress of the company. Then after 5 years of operation, they will be reviewing the strategic document again to incorporate the changes as per the needs of the company.

Project 03

 

 

We were also involved in developing the Human Resource Master Plan for the next 20 years. Initially the work was awarded for a period of 4 months. However, during the actual delivery, through prolong discussions and interview, the scope was changed to organizational capacity assessment and Human Resource Development.


So the project involved looking into the existing systems in place such as performance evaluation, manpower in place, roles and responsibilities of the individual divisions and departments under the ministry, challenges to conduct their duties and to recommend the changes based on the findings. The entry and exit of people within the ministry, training needs assessment, future manpower requirements and overall organizational structural changes were some of the important milestones achieved through the study for the Ministry.

 

The recommendations and findings also highlighted some of the specialised professionals required for the Ministry to deliver the objectives for the welfare of the people in the country.

 

Organizational restructuring was done through the use of Spider Diagrams to show the actual optimum requirements with that of the existing organogram structure.
